Shield Marine Services is seeking a qualified and experienced Marine Operations Coordinator to join our team at the Southampton Branch. The ideal candidate will be crucial in coordinating and facilitating marine operations while ensuring compliance with established procedures and quality standards.



  • Coordinate and oversee day-to-day marine operations activities
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures and quality standards
  • Utilise Microsoft Office programs for efficient data management and reporting
  • Work collaboratively within a process-led environment to optimize workflow
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to marine operations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management system
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless operations
  • Provide administrative support to enhance overall efficiency.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Demonstrate competence in the use of all Microsoft Office programs to efficiently manage and organise marine operations data and documentation
  • Computer Literacy and Typing Accuracy – Possess a high level of computer literacy with excellent typing accuracy to handle various administrative tasks effectively
  • Process-Led Environment – Knowledge and experience of working within a process-led environment, demonstrating an understanding of streamlined procedures and efficient workflow.
  • Adherence to Standard Procedures – Proven ability to work within the confines of standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and compliance in all marine operations
  • Quality System Knowledge – Familiarity with ISO9001:2015 or a similar quality management system to uphold and enhance the quality standards of marine operations
  • Administration Qualifications (Desirable but not essential) – Possession of relevant administration qualifications will be considered an asset, contributing to the overall efficiency and professionalism of the role


Job Types: Full-time, 40 Hours per week, Permanent

Location: Romsey, Southampton
