End-to-end environmental services at Drinnick Stores

Shield are currently underway carrying out work at the Drinnick Stores in St Austell, Cornwall. Shield is contracted to carry out the asbestos removal, scaffolding and demolition on the site.

This project is a prime example of Shield’s ability to offer end to end Environmental Services to clients who will benefit from dealing with one highly skilled contractor to take care of all of their needs.

The project started on the 19th of May and the programme is scheduled to take 19 weeks. The scope of works is an environmental clean and removal of non-licenced asbestos, a strip out of the building, erection of the scaffolding, removal of limpet sprayed asbestos underneath asbestos corrugated sheets, scaffolding strike down and then the full demolition of the building.
