Stoke On Trent City Council Appoints Shield To Framework

Framework Will Be Supported By Shield Asbestos Services’ Birmingham Branch

Stoke on Trent City Council has confirmed the companies selected to cover works to 17,500 properties. This includes 480 residential leaseholder properties and 200 properties let to commercial tenants, together with a small number of privately owned properties in connection with grant-funded work.

The works will be delivered via Unitas Stoke-on-Trent Ltd, as the repairs and maintenance provider, with the four-year framework including but not limited to, asbestos removal and encapsulation due to start in April 2024 valued at £1.3m.  The work will be undertaken by the Shield Asbestos Services team at our Birmingham branch, led by Richard Begley.
